News — THE LIGHT OF YAHWEHShua

Are You Anti-Messiah[1]

Before you can determine if you are or are not anti-messiah, you must first understand what this word means.  John defines anti-messiah for us in 1John 2:22:  “Who is a liar but he that denieth that YahwehShua [2] is the Messiah?  He is anti-messiah, that denieth the Father and the Son.”

John continues in verse 23: “Whosoever denieth the Son, the same hath not the Father:  but he that acknowledgeth the son hath the Father also.”

Why is this important to have both the Father and the Son?  Rev 14:1 provides this important clue:  “And I saw, and beheld, the Lamb standing on the Mount Zion, and with him a hundred and forty-four thousand [persons] having HIS NAME and the NAME OF HIS FATHER written on their foreheads.”[3]

This is referring to the “better resurrection” which is the return of the Messiah (Hebrews 11:35).  Why is this resurrection better?  John provides this insight in Rev 20:6:

“Blessed and holy is he that hath part in the first resurrection [better resurrection]:  on such the second death hath no power, but they shall be priests of Yahweh and of Messiah, and shall reign with him a thousand years.”

This is certainly a great opportunity.  It would be a shame to not have a part in this better resurrection.  However, if you are anti-messiah, you will be excluded.

How do I know if I am or am not anti-messiah?  A quick check is to ask yourself whether or not you follow the Messiah’s commandment in Matthew 28:19.  He says to be baptized in the name (singular) of the Father and of the Son.   If your baptism is in the Name of YahwehShua, you have a valid baptism and therefore you know Messiah (1John 2:3).

If your baptism is in any other name, Yahshua, Jesus, Yeshua or Yehushua, you have denied the Father and the Son.  This would disqualify you from being in the better resurrection.  Paul tells us in Ephesians 4:5 that there is only “one baptism”.  Therefore we must get it right to be considered for all the blessings associated with the better resurrection.

However, a proper baptism is not a guarantee of being in the better resurrection because you can fail to overcome.  Failing to overcome puts you in the lake of fire.  This is not the desirable outcome you wish to achieve.

Without a proper baptism, you cannot even run the race.  The requirement for participation in the process of overcoming is to be immersed in the name of YahwehShua.  John 5:5 says this:  “Who is he that overcometh the world, but he that believeth YahwehShua is the son of Yahweh.”

Belief in YahwehShua as the Messiah, whose name is inherited after his death and resurrection, is confirmation that you acknowledge the name of the Father and Son.  This is not an optional requirement but is essential to be in the race for the better resurrection.

Ephesians 4:3 exhorts us to “keep the unity of the Spirit”.  What does this unity mean?  This is what the Shema in  Deuteronomy 6:4 tells us:  “Hear, O Israel, Yahweh our Elohim is Yahweh United (one).”  The Messiah condensed this into a very personal statement quoted in John 10:30, “I and my Father are one.”

Messiah desires that we also should be part of the unity shared by the Father and Son.  This desire is verbalized in John 17:21:  “that they [those called, chosen, and faithful] all may be one; as thou, Father, art in me, and I in thee, that they may be one in us:”

This unity with the Father and Son is required.  Ephesians 4:4-5 teaches us this:  “There is one body, and one Spirit, even as ye are called in one hope of your calling.; one sovereign, one faith, one baptism…”   This unity is confirmed in the name, YahwehShua, the name of the Father and Son.

There is one sovereign, our soon coming king, YahwehShua.  There is one faith and the name of faith is YahwehShua.  This name is not found in the Scriptures because the High Priest blotted it out.  The letter “hey” was removed and that left the name, Yahshua, which is still seen.

Hebrews 11:1 describes the importance of faith:  “Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.”  You cannot see the name of YahwehShua, but the indicators are there for those to whom it is revealed.

Please refer to our website, thelightofyahwehshua.com, for more information about the name, YahwehShua.  According to Deuteronomy 29:20 he who is guilty of the curse of Yahweh has his name blotted out.  Galatians 3:13 tells us:  “Messiah hath redeemed us from the curse of the law” and in 2 Cor 5:21 that he was made sin for us. Messiah is the only human to die in sin.  Therefore, he is the only human to have his name blotted out.

The blotted out name, Yahshua, identifies the blood of Messiah that covered all sin and is therefore too defiled to present to the Father.  Because he lost his human name, after his death, he inherited a new name.  It is not read, but revealed.

Finally, Ephesians 4:5 says there is one baptism.  This is important.  There is only one way to enter the race for the better resurrection.  That way is the one baptism, which includes the laying on of hands and receiving the seed of the Spirit of Messiah.  The Spirit of Messiah is not fully formed, but must grow throughout your life to allow you to be resurrected in the better resurrection.  Paul confirms this in Galatians 4:19 where he reveals that Messiah must be formed in you.

Please note in Acts 19:1-5, quoted below, that the baptism of John was rejected as not being sufficient.  Only baptism in YahwehShua would suffice.  This continues to be true today.  Without baptism in YahwehShua, nothing else matters.

And it came to pass, that, while Apollos was at Corinth, Paul having passed through the upper coasts came to Ephesus: and finding certain disciples, He said unto them, Have ye received the Holy Spirit since ye believed? And they said unto him, We have not so much as heard whether there be any Holy Spirit. And he said unto them, Unto what then were ye baptized? And they said, Unto John's baptism. Then said Paul, John verily baptized with the baptism of repentance, saying unto the people, that they should believe on him which should come after him, that is, on Messiah YahwehShua. When they heard this, they were baptized in the name of the Sovereign, YahwehShua..

You can observe the Sabbaths, and the holy days, read the Scriptures, and pray to Yahweh.  This is not enough.  You must acknowledge both the name of the Father and Son.  This is a necessary and required first step that must be performed to begin the process of overcoming which can lead to the better resurrection.  Baptism in the name of YahwehShua is that first step.  If you don’t submit to this baptism, you are denying both the Father and the Son and are therefore anti-messiah.

Pray to Yahweh as you study this paper.  Ask, seek, and knock that the truth will be revealed to you.  If we can be of help, please contact us by email at lightofyahwehshua.@gmail.com.

[1] The King James Version of the Bible (KJV) uses antichrist.  Christ is the transliteration of the Greek for anointed.  Messiah is the transliteration for the Hebrew word meaning anointed.  However, the Greek has a pagan association with Chrestus, a cult that had been in existence centuries before the Messiah walked the earth.  This is considered to be the origin of the word, Christian.  We wish to avoid any association with Christianity or the Chrestus cult.  Therefore we choose to use anti-messiah instead.

[2] The Greek word is Ihsous.  This is also found in the Septuagint (LXX) for Joshua, Moses’ assistant.  The Hebrew would be Yahshua as there is no “J” in Hebrew or Greek.  However, the name referred to in this verse is the inherited name (Hebrews 1:4).  The human name, Yahshua, was blotted out because Messiah bore all the curses of sin (Gal. 3:13), thus Messiah died in sin (2Cor 5:21).  By taking on all curses and dying in sin, his name was blotted out (Deut 21:22-23; 29:20).  His human name was attached to and identified with his human life that was associated with the blood.  Life is in the blood (Lev 17:11).  The name he inherited was YahwehShua.  Yahweh blotted his human name out of the book of life.  The high priest blotted out his inherited name from the temple scrolls by removing the letter, “hey”.  Therefore, YahwehShua (Yahweh Savior) is the correct name because Yahshua (Yah Savior) is the defiled, blotted out name.

[3] The KJV does not translate all of the Greek words in this passage.  The KJV states, “having his Father’s name written in their foreheads.”  However, the Greek text (Emphatic Diaglott) states : having the name of him and the name of the Father of him on the foreheads of themselves.”

Is the Word of Yahweh Wrong?

I am aware that there are errors in the translated words of the Hebrew Scriptures.  But do the Hebrew Scriptures themselves have significant errors?

Deuteronomy 21:22 tells us:  “And if a man have committed a sin worthy of death, and he be to be put to death, and thou hang him on a tree:…”

This seems to describe what happened to Messiah Yahshua.  Peter tells us in 1Peter 2:24 that “… his [Messiah’s] own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree…”  That Messiah was hung on a tree and not a cross is confirmed in other passages as well.

My concern is in Chapter 29 of Deuteronomy.  In verse 18, we learn that “…should there be among you man, or woman, or family, or tribe whose heart turneth away this day from Yahweh our Elohim,…”  This is what happened to Messiah.  He willingly chose to bear all the sin of mankind.  Therefore, he became that person this verse refers to.

If I am understanding this verse correctly and how it refers to Messiah as the only one to bear all the sins of the world, then verse 20 really concerns me.

Deuteronomy 29:20 says:  “Yahweh will not spare him, but then the anger of Yahweh and his jealousy shall smoke against that man, and all the curses that are written in this book shall lie upon him, and YAHWEH SHALL BLOT OUT HIS NAME FROM UNDER HEAVEN.’

Did this happen to Yahshua?  Was his name blotted out?  His name is still written in the Greek scriptures.  It does not seem to be missing and therefore not blotted out.  How can this be?

Acts 4:12 says:  “Neither is there salvation in any other:  for there is NONE OTHER NAME UNDER HEAVEN given among men, whereby we must be saved.”

According to the Torah in Deuteronomy 29:20, the name Yahshua was blotted out.  But according to Acts 4:12 there is no “other name under heaven” by which we can be saved.

If Messiah died in sin for ALL mankind, he was the only human to do so.  Why?  John tells in John 1:29:  “… Behold, the Lamb of Yahweh which taketh away the sin of the world.”

Notice also in 1 John 1:7:  “… the blood of Yahshua Messiah his Son cleanseth us from all sin.”

So Messiah took on all sin for all mankind.  No one else had to die in sin.  He was the only human to die in sin.  He was also hung on a tree and not a cross.  Yahshua Messiah is the only human to fulfill the Torah!

I acknowledge that at the time of his death, his name was Yahshua.  But what was his name upon resurrection?  His human name was blotted out, gone, no longer recognized by the Father.  Yet, he had to have a new name after resurrection.

We need to know what his name became after the resurrection.  Why?  Because Yahshua told us that “whatsoever ye shall ask in MY NAME, that will I do …” and again, “If ye shall ask any thing in MY NAME, I will do it. (John 14:13-14).

In 1 John 3:23, we are told to “… believe in the NAME of His Son Yahshua Messiah [the anointed] …”.  In fact, in the next verse, 24, we are told “And he that keepeth his commandments dwelleth in him…”  We are commanded to use his name.  Which name?

Yahshua, the Lamb of Yahweh, having been defiled by all the sins of the world, could not use his blotted out name before the Father.  Why?  Again the answer is in the Torah.  In Exodus 12:5, we are told the Passover lamb that was sacrificed before Yahweh had to be without blemish.  Yahshua died without having sinned himself.  (1 Peter 2:22.)

However, he could not go before his Father having a name defiled with sin.  He needed a new, clean name.  After death he inherited a new name. (Hebrews 1:4)  What is that name?  We need to know.  Our eternity rests on this knowledge.  What is His name in the resurrection?  It cannot be the sin-stained, defiled name of Yahshua.

You will not be able to find this name in the Scriptures.  Why?  It is the revealed name of salvation; the name of faith.  The name is revealed and is now available to you.

Messiah Had Two Names: One Defiled, One Exalted

What a remarkable assertion:  Messiah had two names!  I am not counting Jesus, or Yeshua versus Yahshua.  I believe Yahshua was His human name, but He must have had a second name later.

What would make me think this?  In Matthew 7:22-23 Messiah is teaching and proclaiming this interesting statement:

Many will say to me in that day, Sovereign, Sovereign, have we not prophesied in Thy Name?  and in Thy Name have cast out devils?  and in Thy Name done many wonderful works?

And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you:  depart from me, ye that work iniquity.

These people, who thought they were true disciples of Messiah, were blind-sided with the revelation that they were workers of iniquity and not to be recognized by Him.  They called on His name to prophesy, cast out devils and perform wonderful works.  They must have done something wrong.  What was it?

Perhaps they were not authorized to use His name?  However, in John 14, He exhorts us to use His name.  In verse 13, He says:  “And whatsoever ye shall ask in My Name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son.”  Again in verse 14, He says:  “If ye shall ask anything in My Name, I will do it.”

Messiah spoke these words before His death.  Did something change after His death?  Paul tells us in Philippians 2:9:  Wherefore Yahweh hath highly exalted Him, and given Him a Name which is above every name.

Again, Paul tells us this in Hebrews 1:4:  “Being made so much better than the angels, as he hath by inheritance obtained a more excellent name than they.”

There it is!  A change did occur after death.  He inherited a new name.  This was more excellent and exalted above the human name, Yahshua, which He was given at birth.

This is significant!  We do not want to be shunned by Messiah.  We desire to hear “well done, good and faithful servant.”

Notice in Matthew 25, Messiah told the parable of the wise and foolish virgins.  In verse twelve, He says, “I know you not.”  This chilling statement is similar to what He said in Matthew 7:23, “I never knew you.”

In this parable, we learn that the wise virgins had something the foolish ones did not have.  Both groups began with lamps containing oil.  But the wise virgins carried an additional container with oil.  When the bridegroom came, the wise had the oil necessary to enter the wedding supper.  The foolish did not.

In the Song of Solomon 1:3, we are informed:  “Because of the savour of thy good ointments thy name is as ointment poured forth, therefore do the virgins love thee.”  The word, ointment, is from the Hebrew in Strong’s Concordance, 8081, which means olive oil.  The name is compared to oil.

The wise virgins and foolish virgins started out with the same oil (name) in their lamps.  But the wise ones carried additional oil (or name), which the foolish did not have.  The foolish were not able to enter because they lacked the other oil or the other name.

The oil in the lamp was the name of the Father, Yahweh.  What was the name (or oil) that the wise had but not the foolish?  They had the name (oil) that allowed them to enter the wedding supper.  They did not hear, “I know you not.”

Is it all right to be half right?  To know the Father’s name but not the Son’s name?  Please note that in Revelation 14:1, the 144,000 virgins who were in the better resurrection had both the Father’s name and the Son’s name on their foreheads.

Now the KJV refers only to the Father’s name.  However, this is not a correct translation.  The Greek actually reads, “having the name of him and the name of the Father of him.”

These 144,000 are in the better resurrection after Messiah returns and will therefore attend the wedding supper.  They would also have prophesied, cast out devils, and performed wonderful works, but in the “inherited name” of Messiah, not His human name.

The five foolish virgins did not have the “inherited name” nor did those in Matthew 7.  The human name was defiled when Messiah died in sin.  Deuteronomy 29:20 explains that he who dies in sin has his name blotted out.  Only one human died in sin and that was Yahshua, the Messiah.  Therefore, that name could not have been the name referred to in Acts 4:12:  “there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.”

It is interesting to note that we find ourselves in a similar situation as the Jews when Pilate proposed the release of Barabbas, the thief, or Yahshua, the Messiah (Matthew 27:15-26.)

They too had to choose between two names.  One was Bar Abbas (Yahshua, son of the Father) or Yahshua (son of a soldier.)  We are reminded in John 8:41 that the Rabbis had taught that Yahshua the Messiah was the illegitimate son of a Roman soldier.

Yahshua was a common name.  A thief had this name, which was defiled with sin.  The Messiah, who was without sin and the true Son of the Father, also had this name.

The Jewish people were confused by the similarity of the names.  They heard “son of the Father” for one and identified the other Yahshua as an illegitimate Jew fathered by a Roman soldier.  They were misinformed and therefore deceived.

Those who do not acknowledge the inherited name of Messiah and therefore choose the human name are also deceived.  As the Torah confirms in Deuteronomy 29:20, His human name is blotted out.  With the loss of this defiled human name a new unblemished name is required (Hebrews 1:4.)

We must not make the same mistake as the Jews who stood before Governor Pilate.  We must choose well.  Our eternal life depends on it!

Without this additional oil, you will not be in the better resurrection and attend the wedding feast.   Please pray for truth to Yahweh, study this information and search the Scriptures.  Please ask, seek and knock.
